Due to a rise in early use of inhalants (such as NOS), the negative impact of energy drink use and the importance of preparing pupils for transition, we are extending our primary Key stage 2 programme for Years 4 ,5 and 6 to ensure that the RSHE statutory guidance is met, namely, that by the end of primary school, pupils should know the facts about legal and illegal harmful substances and associated risks, including smoking, alcohol use and drug-taking.
