Rachael Andrews is a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Department of Life Sciences at the University of Bath, UK. She is a Member of the Royal Society of Chemistry and holds a BSc. in Chemistry from the University of Bristol, as well as an MRes and PhD from the University of Bath. Now in her third year as a postdoc, her research is focused on the chemical analysis of seized drug materials in support of UK law enforcement.
Her work contributes to the rapid and accurate identification of emerging substances, with a particular interest in the development and validation of detection methods for synthetic cannabinoids and other novel psychoactive substances. With a background in analytical chemistry, she brings a practical, applied perspective to multidisciplinary research in forensic and drug chemistry and a wealth of knowledge and expertise to The Talk About Trust.
