Where our programme was in place, just 8% of pupils took up drinking over the 18 months from year 8 to the end of year 9, compared to 20% following other programmes.
I think one of the key strengths of the AETs approach is that it is realistic and does not patronise parents or students. The information is delivered in an unbiased way that is clear and succinct.
